PURPOSE: A blow molded air duct for a refrigerator is provided to ensure the airtightness, to enhance the quality and to reduce the manufacturing time by the manufacturing of an integral air duct through a blow molding. CONSTITUTION: A blow molded air duct(400) for a refrigerator comprises a hollow duct body with a given length and a plurality of spacer. In order that the top and bottom of the duct body are respectively spaced from the rear plate and the inside of a refrigerator, the spacers are formed on the top and the bottom of the duct body. The duct body and the spacer are integrally formed by the blow-molding of the thermoplastic resin, a plurality of reinforcing ribs are integrally formed on the centers of the top and the bottom of the duct body along the length at given intervals through a blow-molding, gaps are formed on both edges of the blow molding at a certain gap and the thermoplastic resin is extruded through the gap by the air pressure in the blow molding process of the duct body. The thermoplastic resin extruded through the gap is pressed upwardly or downwardly and is cut in a given type and the spacers are formed on both edges of the duct body at a given intervals. |
