PURPOSE: A method for operating a converter circuit and an apparatus for implementing the same are provided to cost-effectively manufacture the apparatus using few amount of components. CONSTITUTION: A converter circuit includes a first part converter system(1) and a second part converter system(2). The converter systems are in serial connection with each other through two serially connected inductances(L1, L2). The converter systems respectively include at least one double-pole switching cells(3). Power semiconductor switches in the switching cells of the first part converter system are controlled by a controlling signal(S1). Power semiconductor switches in the switching cells of the second part converter system are controlled by an additional controlling signal(S2). |
