LUMINESCENT MATERIAL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A luminescent material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to secure the excellent stability and tolerance, and to mass produce the luminescent material by a high temperature thermal treating process. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a luminescent material marked with chemical formula 1: CaMoO_4:M, comprises the following steps: mixing calcium salt as a host material, molybdate, and lanthanide metal salt as an activator inside a reactor, and heating and stirring in 100~300deg C; high temperature thermal treating the mixture in 900~1,100 deg C to form luminescent powder; and pulverizing the luminescent powder.
