PURPOSE: A reinforcing bar coupler is provided to increase coherence between a reinforcing bar and the coupler and improve mechanical property including the tension, compression, bending, torsional rigidity of a connected reinforcing bar. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing bar coupler is constituted as follows. A pair of couplers are formed, so that a semicircular connection hole can be formed to connect reinforcing bars to face each other in a line. Multiple trapezoidal projections and retreated grooves are formed inside the connection hole to be coupled with a trapezoidal projection(14) and a retreated groove(13) formed in the reinforcing bar. A coupling piece is formed on both sides of the coupler, so that a pair of couplers are integrated with the reinforcing bar.
