The present invention relates to navigation. An optimal method of passing a dangerous target in restricted waters by a manoeuvre of changing speed of a vessel consists in receiving from a radar of data on the target actual course and speed, the distance thereto, actual bearing of the target and information about the vessel itself – actual course, initial speed and inertia characteristics. Four parameters are determined using computer equipment: speed of deviation, moment of start of speed change from initial value to the speed of deviation, moment of the time, when the speed of deviation is achieved, and the moment of beginning of the transition process from the deviation speed to the initial speed. Then, on the base of obtained data is carried out the analysis of a set of maneuvers of deviation by changing the speed of the vessel taking into account the criterion of loss of navigation time in order to obtain the value of speed, at which the vessel deviates the target at a given distance of closest approach by maneuver of speed change. The invention makes it possible to prevent collision of the vessel with other floating objects when navigating in restricted waters. |
