METHOD FOR ENDONASAL ENDOSCOPIC SURGICAL TREATMENT OF CHRONIC PURULENT DACRIOCYSTITIS

A method for endonasal endoscopic surgical treatment of the chronic purulent dacriocystitis comprises tailoring U-shaped flap of mucosa anterior to the middle nasal concha, generating the bone fenestra at the site of the lower pole of the lacrimal sac, and dissecting the lacrimal sac. At the stage of tailoring the flap of mucosa, the immediate site of dissection is evaluated with the aid of diaphanoscopy. The lacrimal sac is dissected to its bottom. The tailored flaps of the lateral wall of the nose and the medial wall of the lacrimal sac are dissected.
