A method for sowing tomatoes into temporary ridges includes basic soil cultivation, presowing cultivation for a depth of 8-10 cm, application of mineral fertilizers, sowing treated seeds according to the scheme 50+110 cm, in a rate of 0.7-1.0 kg/ha. After harvesting a preceding crop (winter wheat) shredded straw is scattered across the field, seed is sown for a depth of 8-10 cm into temporary ridges which are cut in the soil prior to sowing forming a plant density of 400 ths. /ha. |
