PURPOSE: A cup diameter allowance device and a cup holder using the same are provided to broaden the allowing range for the diameter of a cup since an engaging member, which engages with the cup inserted into a cup holder, is formed in two or more stages. CONSTITUTION: A cup diameter allowance device(30) comprises an engaging member(50) and a twist coil spring(60). The engaging member makes contact with the outer circumferential surface of the cup inserted into a cup inserting part. The twist coil spring is arranged between a base(40) and the engaging member. The engaging member comprises a first flap member(70) and a second flap member(80). The first flap member is supported on the base to be able to access from an opening. The second flap member makes contact with the outer circumferential surface of the cup inserted into the cup inserting part. |
