PURPOSE: A link duplex method and a VoIP system of using the same are provided to connect a call manager and a LAN switch without data congestion, thereby preventing duplication switching of the call manager by the problem of the LAN switch. CONSTITUTION: LAN switches(130,140) is connected through one active Ethernet link between a first and a second call managers(110,120). The LAN switch is connected through the other one among the call managers and standby Ethernet link. A plurality of media gateways(150,160,170,180) is connected through one among a first and a second LAN switch and an active media gateway link. The plurality of media gateway is connected through one among the LAN switches and standby media gateway link.
