A long hive comprises a body with beehive entrances, a frame, a bottom and a roof. The body is divided into compartitions and sections by a horizontal partition and a vertical wall consisting of lower immovable parts and an upper removable one. The horizontal partition and the upper area of a demountable vertical wall at edges are provided with openings, the sizes of which are larger than working bees and lesser than bee queens. The lower compartitions are provided with sliding cassettes with frames.
