FIELD: personal use articles. ^ SUBSTANCE: safe mechanism of umbrella handle comprises joined telescopic central stem, fixed block, which is blocked when necessary to retain the umbrella in open position, coil, which freely rotates in handle and moves under action of spiral spring, driving cord wound onto coil and connected to upper check-nut and fixed block, actuating mechanism and unidirectional stop mechanism. After force is applied to telescopically folded central stem, and actuating mechanism is moved as a result of push button movement, coil may turn to wind driving cord and may not turn in reverse direction, holding central stem in proper direction. ^ EFFECT: prevention of unwanted opening of umbrella in process of folding. |
