FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: quarantine radiation of logs with X-ray beams includes the following stages: charge of logs in a log conveyor with using a charging machine; traveling of the log conveyor in an exposure hole; traveling of the log conveyor in the radiation field generated by accelerators symmetrically surrounding the middle of the exposure hole in the form of a group of four accelerators; traveling of the log conveyor through the radiation field at constant speed to perform the quarantine radiation of logs in the log conveyor with using X-ray beams generated by the accelerators; traveling of the log conveyor outside the radiation field; traveling of the log conveyor from the exposure hole to a discharge chute. ^ EFFECT: ensured high-efficient, safe and non-destructive quarantine radiation of logs. ^ 18 cl, 6 dwg |
