FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: reservoir contains a body and an in-built filter unit. The body includes a plain cover and a cup with an outlet fitting for filtered blood discharge. The cover has an external collar and a filter unit fastener with a cylindrical collar off-centre to the external collar. An evacuation assembly for the cardiotomy reservoir cavity is arranged between a fasten collar of the filter unit and the external collar. The filter unit comprises a supporting member and a filter element put thereon. The supporting member is provided with a rack mounting formed by ribs with their ends curved inboard and jointed together. The filter element contains a bag of a flexible nonwoven porous filter material and an external case of a nonwoven low-extensible mesh filter. ^ EFFECT: greater amount of treated blood due to ensured maximum capacity of the internal filter space and maximum resource exploitation the porous filter material. ^ 13 cl, 14 dwg
