<p>The device has a electret microphone (2) arranged for being positioned on a flat surface of an acoustic instrument (1) and maintained at approximately one millimeter from a vibrating surface of the instrument by a spacer (10) in order to reserve an air volume (4) between the microphone and the vibrating surface of the instrument. The air volume is sealed at the circumference of the device by a unit such as adhesive and paste cord (8) to be fixed. An independent claim is also included for a sound recording method.</p>
