PURPOSE: The method for manufacturing the brass class solar battery. The method for manufacturing the brass class solar battery having the light absorption layer in which the film quality is improved can be offered. The brass class solar battery having the light absorption layer containing the brass class compound can be manufactured. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing the brass class solar battery. The light absorption layer is allowed in between the first electrode layer(14) and the second electrode layer. The electrode layer is formed in the upper side of the substrate(12) surface. The Cu-In-Ga alloy layer is formed into the sputtering using the Cu-In-Ga alloy target(24) on the first electrode layer.
