PURPOSE: A method for hydrolyzing cellulose using digestive enzyme from reticulitermes speratus at high activity in a short time is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for hydrolyzing cellulose comprises: a step of hydrolyzing cellulose using digestive enzyme from reticulitermes speratus at 45°C and pH 5.5 for 12 hours. The digestive enzyme is endo-beta-1,4-glucanase or beta-glucosidase. A method for preparing the digestive enzyme comprises: a step of homogenizing body of test reticulitermes speratus; a step of mixing 0.1M of sodium acetate buffer solution(SAB) at pH 5.5; a step of ultrasonicating with sonic dismembrator; a step of centrifuging at 13,000 rpm for 25 minutes; and a step of isolating supernatant. |
