THE FIELD EMISSION DEVICE AND THE DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A field emission device and a driving method thereof are provided to block noise from a metal mesh by changing a waveform in a pulse operation. CONSTITUTION: An anode substrate and a cathode substrate are opposite to each other. The cathode electrode is formed in the cathode substrate. A field emitter is formed on the cathode electrode. The gate electrode of a metal mesh type comprises an opening unit. The gate electrode is formed between the anode substrate and the cathode substrate. The power supply unit applies compensated pulse wave power to the gate electrode or the cathode electrode.
