PURPOSE: An electrolyte for a solid oxide fuel cell, a manufacturing method thereof, a unit cell using thereof, and a manufacturing method of the unit cell are provided to use yttria-stabilized zirconia powder in a nano particle shape for forming a thin film electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an electrolyte for a solid oxide fuel cell comprises the following steps: forming yttria stabilized yttria-stabilized zirconia powder in a nano particle shape using a coprecipitation method; forming yttria-stabilized zirconia powder in the nano particle shape using the coprecipitation method; mixing the yttria-stabilized zirconia powder with a solvent and a binder to form slurry(S15); and forming a yttria-stabilized zirconia sheet with the slurry using a tape casting method(S16).
