PURPOSE: A crucible including a coating layer and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to manufacture a silicon ingot without a crack. CONSTITUTION: In a crucible including a coating layer and a manufacturing method thereof, a main body(130) and a coating layer(140) are included therein. The main body has a floor and side through which the intern volume of the crucible is determined. The coating layer comprises an organic binder of 5-10wt%. The coating layer includes a non-ionic surfactant of 5-15wt% and photosensitizer of 2-5wt%.
