<p>PURPOSE: A biomarker for checking exposure of hexachlorobenzene is provided to determine exposure of hexachlorobenzene to human liver and to use in studying toxicity mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A biomarker for checking exposure of hexachlorobenzene contains a gene of which expression is increased or decreased by exposure of hexachlorobenzene. A microarray chip for checking hexachlorobenzene exposure contains an oligonucleotide having entire or partial biomarker gene sequence or complementary oligonucleotide thereof. A method for detecting the biomarker comprises: a step of isolating RNA from human somatic cells of test sample as an experimental group and from somatic cells of control group; a step of synthesizing RNA to cDNA; a step of labeling the experimental group and control group with different fluorescence; a step of hybridizing the labeled cDNA with the DNA microarray chip; a step of analyzing DNA microarray chip; and a step of comparing the expression level of the biomarker.</p> |
