PURPOSE: A microsphere having a hot spot and a method for distinguishing material by surface enrichment Raman scattering are provided to enable multiple analysis based on bar-coded microsphere using SERS technology. CONSTITUTION: A microsphere having a hot spot comprises a microbead and a hot spot. The microbead functions as a core. The hot spot comprises a metal network as a shell formed on the surface of the core. The hot spot randomly distributes air gap of nano-size on the inside or surface of the metal network. The metal network is formed by nano particles of the SERS-active metal.
