The method involves receiving instructions for updation of prerecorded access parameters and call parameters during same session and by same wireless connection. Information stored in a transponder key of a resident is read by an access station, and the information is compared to the access parameters for authorizing and prohibiting unlocking of an entry door of a residence. A transceiver i.e. universal mobile telecommunication system (UMTS)transceiver, is connected to a wireless public telecommunication network e.g. UMTSnetwork, using a wireless connection. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an information storage medium comprising instructions for implementing an interphony method (2) an interphony system for a residence.
