摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly obtain a fluorescence image having quantitative intensity information despite the angle and distance of excitation light by suppressing needless information included in a reference image by simple processing. SOLUTION: A fluorescence observing apparatus 1 includes an illuminating section 2 irradiating illuminating light including excitation light to an object A to be observed, a fluorescent light photographing element 19 obtaining a fluorescent image S<SB>1</SB>by photographing fluorescent light irradiated from a predetermined range to be observed of the object A to be observed and, a fluorescent photographing optical system 16 forming an image of the object to be observed by the fluorescent light on the photographing face thereof, a reference light photographing element 21 obtaining a reference image S<SB>3</SB>by photographing return light returning from the range to be observed, a reference light photographing optical system 18 forming the image by the return light of the object to be observed on the photographing face thereof, and an image correcting section 25 correcting the fluorescent light S<SB>1</SB>by using the reference image S<SB>3</SB>, the product of a substantial pixel density of the reference light photographing element 21 by the image forming magnification of the reference light photographing optical system 18 is smaller than the product of the pixel density of the fluorescent light photographing element 19 by the image forming magnification of the fluorescent light photographing optical system 16.
