PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor of structure easy to remove a guide piece from a guide frame. SOLUTION: This passenger conveyor includes: a moving handrail 1 circulating synchronously with footsteps; handrail panels 2 stood along the moving direction of the moving handrail; a guide frame 3 fitted to the peripheral edge of the handrail panel; and a handrail guide 4 covering an outer peripheral side of the guide frame and guiding the moving handrail. The handrail guide is formed of a pair of a right and a left guide pieces 41 and 42 in the cross direction, and sides of these guide pieces facing each other are extended to an inner peripheral side to form opposite parts 41a and 42a, and these opposite parts are inserted into a common recess 31 provided on the outer peripheral side of the guide frame. The outer peripheral surface of the guide piece is formed with notches 41b and 42b extended along the longitudinal direction of the guide piece to improve flexibility of the guide piece in the cross direction thereof.
