PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centering vise rotatable while centering and holding a workpiece, and to provide a centering vise for positioning the workpiece before and after cutting-off machining at a specific phase position around the axis. SOLUTION: The centering vise 1 includes: a distal end body part 20; a body member 2; a pair of jaw members 5 facing each other on one end side of the distal end body part 20 and the body member 2 and provided to be approachable and separable in the direction orthogonal to an axis 2a; a movement drive mechanism 6 that moves the jaw members 5 to symmetrically approach and separate relative to the axis 2a of the body member 2. The centering vise 1 further includes: a case member 3 externally engaged with the body member 2; and a bearing 4 supporting the body member 2 and the pair of jaw members 5 to be rotatable around the axis 2a relative to the case member 3.
