WATER-DISCHARGE TANK AND OIL DETECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-discharge tank preventing discharge of oil to the outside and reducing a labor required for maintenance/management. SOLUTION: The water-discharge tank 100 is a water-discharge tank 100 provided with an oil detector 140 for detecting the oil when the oil of a liquid surface reaches to a predetermined liquid depth, and is provided with a separation part 110 for separating the oil contained in the liquid to an upper side and separating water to a lower side; an introduction port 112 for introducing the liquid to the separation part 110; a storage part 130 for storing the water separated by the separation part 110; a connection pipe 120 for connecting the separation part 110 to the storage part 130; and the oil detector 140 arranged on the separation part 110. The connection pipe 120 is characterized in that an opening part 124 at the separation part side is arranged at an approximately half position of depth of the separation part 110 and an opening part 126 at the storage part side is arranged at a position higher than that of the opening part 124 at the separation part side.
