PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for storing an article facilitating storage or taking out of a plate-like article. SOLUTION: This device 10 for storing the article stores a plurality of plate-like articles substantially in a rectangle shape in vertical arrangement. The device 10 includes: a plurality of pairs of L-shaped rocking arms 2, 2 arranged side by side in a horizontal direction; and a frame 1 rockably supporting the rocking arms 2. The rocking arm 2 includes: a horizontal arm with a first supporting part in its front end, which is extended in the horizontal direction; and a standing arm with a second supporting part in its front end, which is extended upward substantially at a right angle from the base end of the horizontal arm. When the bottom side of the plate-like article is received by the front ends of the pair of horizontal arms by using the load of the article, those front ends are lowered, and the front ends of the pair of standing arms are approximated to each other, thereby supporting both the side surfaces of the article.
