<p>A pasty dentifrice composition which has the excellent property of remaining in the mouth and has satisfactory rinsability after toothbrushing. The pasty dentifrice composition contains xanthene gum and polyvinylpyrrolidone, and is characterized in that (1) the total amount of the xanthene gum and the polyvinylpyrrolidone is 6-14 mass%, (2) the proportion of the xanthene gum to the polyvinylpyrrolidone is 0.17-7 (mass ratio), and (3) the composition has a viscosity of 4-13 g.</p> |
