<p>Disclosed are a light-emitting element and an illuminating device. Specifically disclosed is a light-emitting element (200) which comprises an optical semiconductor layer (5) and a reflective electrode (31). The optical semiconductor layer (5) is provided with a projection (510) that protrudes from one main surface (5a) of the optical semiconductor layer (5). The reflective electrode (31) is so formed as to cover the surface of the protruding projection (510), and the inner surface of the reflective electrode (31) in contact with the projection (510) reflects the light emitted from the optical semiconductor layer (5) toward the other main surface (5b) of the optical semiconductor layer (5).</p> |
