PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a concrete wall, which can improve appearance to the utmost, without the formation of a circular pattern of a different concrete color on a wall surface after the construction of the wall, using a lightweight form holding implement excellent in portability; and to provide a concrete wall structure. SOLUTION: A concrete placing space is partitioned by fixing a pair of form plates 22 at a predetermined spacing by means of a separator 24 and the form holding implement 20; and concrete is infilled into the placing space for the construction of the concrete wall. The form holding implement for use in this case includes: an internal thread cylinder 26 which is screwed and connected to the shaft end of the separator; a pivoting foot 28 which is screwed and connected to the internal thread cylinder; a ring 30 for forming a recess, which is mounted on the outer peripheral portion of the pivoting foot and interposed between the internal thread cylinder and the form plate; and a form tie 32 which is screwed to the pivoting foot, and which fixes the form plate by sandwiching it between the form tie and the ring for forming the recess.
