Fans (14, 16) circulate a drying agent, and the drying chamber is heated by useful heat produced by the power and heat generating device. A supplying unit (22) is provided for supplying electrical energy into electrical consumers that are arranged at the drying chamber. The power and heat generating device is controlled by the control unit depending on the drying program.
