The device (1) has a screw exhibiting a screw head and a threaded shaft that is provided with an external thread and a plate (2). The plate is provided with a lowering device (6), and an opening (5) is formed in the lowering device. The screw intervenes with the external thread in the opening of the plate, where the opening exhibits an internal thread. The external thread of the screw is inserted via an internal thread of the opening in a non-cutting deformation state. The lowering device is formed as a hollow truncated cone (7). An independent claim is also included for a repair set for repairing a connecting device.
