<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output images captured beforehand by an imaging apparatus such that the images can be displayed easily and three-dimensionally. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus for capturing images includes: an imaging section for capturing images; an image generation section for generating an image for right eyes and that for left eyes from a captured image; and a write section for writing the image for right eyes and that for left eyes to a storage. An imaging method is also provided. The write section may write the image for right eyes and that for left eyes to the attachable/detachable storage.
