<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-efficiency thermoelectric conversion element high in sinterability. <P>SOLUTION: The thermoelectric conversion element includes sintered micron particles having an average particle diameter of 2-3μm, and a coating layer adhering around the sintered micron particles. The coating layer comprises nanoparticles and a binding material, and the particle diameter of each nanoparticle is about one-tenth of the sintered micron particle. In the thermoelectric conversion element structured like that, heat is expected to be mainly transmitted through the sintered micron particles, and electricity is expected to be transmitted through the nanoparticles and the binding material formed into the coating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
