<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a speed response can not catch up with a fluctuating speed of disturbance when the disturbance is inputted in tension for some reason, and elimination of an influence of the disturbance is difficult in a method for controlling tension of a rotary press. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for controlling the tension of the rotary press, with respect to the tension of a web traveling between an in-feed roll unit and a transfer unit, and the transfer unit and an out-feed roll unit, a difference in a peripheral speed between an in-feed roll and a transfer roll is detected, a difference in a peripheral speed between an out-feed roll and the transfer roll is also detected, and then the rotational frequency of a driving motor is controlled so that a difference between a set web tension and a web tension detected by a tension detector falls within a target value. Since the tension is thus controlled so as to prevent the occurrence of a change in the tension of the web among the in-feed roll unit, roll transfer device, and out-feed-roll unit, the stable traveling of the web is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
