PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device, capable of preventing stain on image by preventing toner from leaking from the fixing device. SOLUTION: The fixing device 25 for performing fixing onto a recording medium by heat and/or pressure includes a fixing roller 251, a pressure roller 252, and a cleaning roller 257 for cleaning either of these rollers, and the cleaning roller 257 is coated with a reactive material which increases the viscoelasticity of a binder resin.
