PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover member for a side fence which easily responds to a different length of various side fences while preventing an accident which happens when a part of the body of a user is caught in the gap of the side fences (including the gap between adjacent side fences). SOLUTION: The cover member includes a cover body 21 formed into bags where a lower end is opened, and a closure member 22 which closes an open end with at least one end side of the longitudinal direction of this cover body 21 in bags tucked inside.
