PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve satisfactorily accelerating atomization of fuel at each of a plurality of injection holes. SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve 1 includes a hole corresponding guide surface 15g. The hole corresponding guide surface 15g is provided for each injection hole 21c of a nozzle plate 21, and guides fuel passing through a section between a valve seat 15c and a valve element 17 toward a nozzle plate 21. An inlet of the injection hole 21c corresponding to the hole corresponding guide surface 15g is positioned on a virtual extended surface f from the hole corresponding guide surface 15g to the injection hole 21c corresponding to the hole corresponding guide surface 15g.
