PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crane control device in a waste disposal facility capable of preventing input of carried-in waste to a crushed waste input hopper by mistake and enabling stable operation preventing unstable combustion in a gasification melting system, a method of controlling the crane control device, the gasification melting system and a method of operating the gasification melting system. SOLUTION: In the crane control device, when a waste hopper input command button 400b is pushed, a waste hopper input command is received. When the position of waste caught by a waste position determination part is on a carried-in waste 11 side, the waste hopper input command is converted to a carried-in waste input hopper input command, and when the position of waste caught by the waste position determination part is on a crushed waste 12 side, the waste hopper input command is converted to a crushed waste input hopper input command.
