PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily confirm the location of a downflow monitor plugging the inside of a pipe. SOLUTION: The device includes the downflow monitor M which can be input into an inspection object pipe P, sent down together with a fluid 1 through the pipe, and locked by a downflow obstacle 2 projecting in the pipe P; and a detection device K for detecting the location of the downflow monitor M inside the pipe P, by receiving a transmitted signal from the downflow monitor M.
