PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road map data learning device capable of suppressing repeated learning of a wrong new road. SOLUTION: The road map data learning device includes: a new road detection means 41 for detecting a new road not included in road map data, based on the travel trajectory of a vehicle and the road map data; and a road learning means 42 for learning the new road as a utilizable learning road along with the road map data. The road map data learning device further includes a memory 50 for storing features of the new road detected by mistake as learning prohibition pattern information. The road learning means 42 does not learn the new road when the features of the new road correspond to the learning prohibition pattern information stored in the memory 50.
