PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the maintenance with low non-discharge frequency of nozzle hole of an inkjet head while being able to increase the flow velocity and perform the discharge and feeding of ink. SOLUTION: Since the maintenance method of an inkjet unit includes a process S1 for sealing the nozzle hole by a cap mechanism 15, a process S2 for adjusting the inner pressure of a supply-side buffer tank 3 to be the first negative pressure value, a process S3 for adjusting the inner pressure of a cap-side buffer tank to be the second negative pressure value, and a process S4 which makes a supply-side waste liquid valve 7 opened and gives the negative pressure of the first negative pressure value to the inside of the inkjet head in the state that the cap-side waste liquid valve 13 is opened, and the negative pressure of the second negative pressure value has been given to the space sealed by the cap mechanism 15, a larger ink flow velocity is assured, and the maintenance with low non-discharge frequency of nozzle hole of the inkjet head can be performed without breaking the meniscus of the nozzle hole.
