PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently eliminate heat from a wide area of an exhaust manifold 2 and efficiently cool the wide area of the exhaust manifold 2 in a heat insulator 3 having a shape forming a closed space surrounding an exhaust manifold 2 of a multi-cylinder type internal combustion engine 1. SOLUTION: A bulkhead 11 for dividing an area 7 where a low temperature section exists and an area 5 where a high temperature section exists of an exhaust manifold 2 is disposed in the closed space, and a communication passage 11a for providing communication between the divided areas 5, 7 is disposed on the bulkhead 11. The introduction port 8 of travelling wind is disposed in the high temperature area 5 and a discharge port 9 for discharging air flow inside thereof is disposed in the low temperature area 7.
