SOLUTION: A first image pickup device 2a to a fourth image pickup device 2d provided to a vehicle store a picked-up image in a frame buffer 10. An image reading part 12 supplies each image read from the frame buffer 10 to an image processing part 14, and supplies the image picked up by the second image pickup device 2b and the fourth image pickup device 2d to a moving amount detection part 16. The image processing part 14 converts each image received from the image reading part 12 into a bird's eye view image, converts the bird's eye view image to cancel the moving amount of the vehicle based on a moving vector of the entire vehicle received from the moving amount detection part 16, and supplies it to an obstacle detection part 18. The moving amount detection part 16 detects the moving vector of the entire vehicle based on the image received from the image reading part 12. The obstacle detection part 18 detects an obstacle for each image pickup device 2 by taking a difference of the bird's eye view images received from the image processing part 16.
