PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorber having practically sufficient absorbability and peeling strength and easily washable by water, a method for manufacturing the same, and an absorbing article. SOLUTION: The absorber 10 includes a constitution in which an absorptive polymer 11 with centrifugal holding strength of 20 g/g or less according to JIS K 7223 is sandwiched with two sheets 12, 13 and the absorptive polymer 11 is bonded to the sheet 12, 13 via a water soluble binder. The absorber 10 can be obtained by applying the absorptive polymer 11 and the water soluble binder onto one surface of the sheet 12 in a wet condition, by superposing the other sheet 13 on the same, by drying the same, and by integrating the same.
