The elementary wire (4) is manufactured from a metal and is coated with an electrically insulating coating (3) so as to form an electrical wire (1), whereby the crystal grains making up the entire elementary wire are in the form of fine isometric grains. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing an elementary wire.
