HINGE MECHANISM AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCE PROVIDED WITH THE SAME

Proposed is a hinge mechanism comprising a hinge (A) operatively connected to a foldable appliance having a first member (1) and a second member (2), a hinged member (5), a slide member (6) slidably mounted on the hinged member (5) and a trunnion (6) attached to the slide member (6) for rotatably supporting the second member (2). The hinge mechanism is characterized in that a link (7) is further provided between the hinge (A) and the slide member (6), the link being capable of sliding the slide member (6) relative to the hinged member (5) radially outwardly as a link arm (11) of the link (7) and the slide member (6) rotates as a result of rotation of the hinged member (5). An electronic appliance provided with the hinge mechanism is also proposed.
