<p>A car body structure (1) is equipped with a roof side rail (2) and a front pillar (3), wherein the roof side rail (2) and the front pillar (3) have a roof reinforcement (20) and a pillar reinforcement (30). The roof reinforcement (20) extends in the front-to-rear direction of the car body, and the pillar reinforcement (30) extends in a direction to intersect the front-to-rear direction of the car body. The roof reinforcement (20) and the pillar reinforcement (30) are connected with the end (22a) of the lower side wall (22) of the roof reinforcement(20) abutting the end (32a) of the outer side wall (32) of the pillar reinforcement (30) in the front-to-rear direction of the car body, and the end (23a) of the upper side wall (23) of the roof reinforcement (20) overlapping the end (33a) of the inner side wall (33) of the pillar reinforcement (30). Thus, it is possible to provide a car body structure with which a load exerted on the front pillar (3) can be transmitted effectively to the roof side rail (2).</p> |
