<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for washing and sorting Nemacystus decipiens, for efficiently and surely removing and sorting small foreign matter of a maximum length of about 6 mm. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a washing tank 3 holding Nemacystus decipiens (A) and wash water W, screw conveyors 5 and 7 charging the Nemacystus decipiens (A) into the washing tank 3 and adjustable in the forward and reverse rotation and rotational frequency of stirring and washing, a bubbling device 9 producing bubbles B in the wash water W in the washing tank 3, an upper net 11 separating lightweight foreign matter floating in the washing tank 3 into small foreign matter F1 and large foreign matter F2, a lower net (porous plate) 13 separating heavy foreign matter subsiding in the washing tank 3 into small foreign matter G1 and large foreign matter G2, a dehydrating conveyor 15 separating the Nemacystus decipiens (A) from which the small foreign matter F1 and G1 are removed from the wash water W followed by taking out, and a movable flow regulating plate 17 arranged in the washing tank 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
