<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture at a low cost a phosphor comprising a nitride or an oxynitride with a homogeneous chemical composition as a mother body without needing compression forming for acceleration of solid phase reaction or a long time treatment for crushing after baking for a nitride raw material, and without needing a high-temeprature and high-pressure burning furnace with a high cost etc. <P>SOLUTION: The method manufacturing for the phosphor is characterized by heating an alloy containing two or more metallic elements constituting the phosphor in a nitrogen atmosphere. All of constitutent metallic elements are molten, then an alloy with a homogeneous composition is made, and by nitriding the alloy, the objected phosphor containing the objective nitride or oxynitride as a mother body can be readily obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
